2025 Eagle Wassailfest

Experience the Magic of Wassailfest 2025!
Celebrate the warmth and wonder of the holiday season in Eagle! Sip, stroll, and discover the charm of local businesses as they serve up their own unique versions of wassail - a warm, spiced cider - during this beloved community tradition brought to us by Circle-A Auto Repair. 

How It Works
Pick up a Wassailfest voter card at any participating business, then explore and sample participating businesses wassail at your own pace during their normal hours of operation. This happens starting Thursday, December 4th and Saturday, December 6th, up until 3:30 pm.

Visit at least 12 participating businesses to vote for your favorite wassail and turn in your voter card at ARTSPaCE workshop+gallery at 3:30 pm on Saturday, December 6th, just before the Christmas on Broadway parade. The first 30 wassailers to turn in their completed voter cards will receive a Gift Certificate to a GREAT Eagle Business. Be sure to include your name and phone number on the voter card to be entered into a drawing to win a BACKYARD PARTY PACK! This great pack includes 2 lawn chairs, a gas grill, cooler, a yard game and a yard blanket. Look for winner announcements, including the 2025 Wassail-Meister, to be announced on this webpage and the Eagle Chamber eblast in the days following Christmas on Broadway.

A Toast To Tradition
Since 2015, Wassailfest has warmed hearts and storefronts throughout Eagle. The word "wassail" (pronounced wassle) comes from Old English meaning "be you healthy". It began centuries ago as a cheerful ritual wishing good fortune for the coming year. 

Our reigning 2024 Wassail-Meister, Canela Coffee & Pastry Shop holds the coveted Wassailfest Trophy and our beloved mascot, "Andy the Wassail Squirrel", named in honor of Andy Jessen of Bonfire Brewing - a symbol of Eagle's community spirit and joy.
