Eagle Chamber Ambassadors visited Little Bird Creative Community (LBCC), just in time to help prepare 100 meals LBCC is delivering to the Community Market the next day.
"It would have taken Scott and I four hours to put this together", Anne laughs.
Eagle Chamber's Executive Director expressed the Chamber's gratitude. "It's an honor to spend this time with LBCC and help prepare meals being delivered to the community. While LBCC partners with the Food Bank of the Rockies, the Community Market and Eagle Valley Foundation, LBCC founders Anne and Scott use their kitchen to store, cook and prepare food to serve a need in the community, they also offer a helping hand to local individuals who want to exercise their ability to advance their culinary talents and start their own small business. LBCC offers business tools, resources and personal assistance to individuals who are ready to take the next step in making their entrepreneurial dreams come true. Anne and Scott offer a down to earth approach to serve the community and provides an innovative path for locals to act on their visions and offer the community their very own culinary creations."
Anne shared LBCC's most recent exciting news with the Ambassadors. "We are working with the Town of Gypsum to create a community garden in Gypsum! This endeavor is being well thought out to offer plots to members, with a commitment to offer a portion of the vegetables to be donated to the Community Market. We'll offer cooking classes in conjunction with this program and so much more. Stay tuned!"
The Ambassadors were greeted with a whipped goat cheese spread garnished with candied bacon + dates and toasted freshly baked baguette slices, baby carrots with house made ranch dressing and a side of roasted red pepper hummus, a selection of crackers and cookies, peanut butter pretzel bites. Hot tea and cold bubbly beverages were served. All taste buds were celebrating this delicious spread! The Eagle Chamber Ambassadors were grateful for this opportunity to enjoy this incredible visit to Little Bird Creative Community.
The Eagle Chamber would like to thank the Eagle Chamber Ambassadors for their service who participated in this event: Rhonda Tatham of First Bank, Edgar Chairez and Patty Hood of Hood Insurance Agency, Jackie VanEyll of the Town of Eagle, Jessie Steinmetz of Edward Jones, Emma Mitchell of Rosa Joy Co. and Jennifer Hefferan of MND America Corp.
Eagle Chamber Ambassadors typically meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, sometimes to discuss Chamber opportunities to support and strengthen our business community and other times to offer services to other Eagle Chamber Members. Ambassadors utilize the Eagle Chamber of Commerce's platform to build relationships, develop referrals and increase their exposure into the business community, all while serving the community, fulfilling our human desire to give.
While it is required that Ambassadors are current Members of the Eagle Chamber, non-Members may partake as a visitor once to get a glimpse of the camaraderie and benefits of serving in the Ambassador role . Please contact Michelle Morgan at michelle.morgan@eaglechamber.co or (970) 306-2262 to learn more about the program and to schedule a visit to join the Ambassadors. More information about the Eagle Chamber's Ambassador program can be found here.
