February's Eagle Chamber Mixer took a dip into the culinary character that lies at the heart of our community at Little Bird Creative Community, co-hosted by DJ Pippen, Rosa Joy Co and Vail Valley Entertainment!
While the snow fell outside, Little Bird Creative Community (LBCC), Vail Valley Entertainment, Rosa Joy Co. and DJ Pippen sprung a middle of the winter Garden Party and invited Eagle Chamber Members and their guests into Little Bird Commissary Kitchen. Overjoyed taste buds were served toasty ham & swiss sliders, fresh veggies, homemade chocolate chip cookies, meringue mushroom dirt cups, raspberry lemonade, chilled, bubbly sake and prosecco. Beautifully balanced, refreshing mocktails were served by Rosa Joy Co. Vail Valley Entertainment added a fun themed complimentary photo booth, while DJ Pippen enhanced the experience, grooving the music momentum.
Guests were presented with one of the most ultramodern creations gaining momentum in Colorado, by Little Bird Creative Community. With an unwavering vision of fostering a thriving, healthy and sustainable food ecosystem by empowering our community through education, outreach and partnership, founders Anne and Scott Pasquale welcome you to their world of gratification through giving at Little Bird Creative Community. Here to inspire, teach, support and help provide the right resources to create a self sufficient culinary community, LBCC is a nonprofit endeavor created to offer all manner of artistic inspired outlets, focusing on culinary education. The LBCC team works humbly and hard to offer free, hands-on cooking and baking classes to low income adults, families and kids in their brand new commercial kitchen space. The LBCC fund has been created to help those in our community make long lasting healthy changes and improve food security issues. It is the desire of LBCC to create a space where community members can deepen their relationship with food and with each other. Watch Anne's welcoming address and hear her reveal a secret garden project blooming in Gypsum, Colorado here!
Emma Mitchell, owner of "Rosa Joy Co" and Eagle Chamber Ambassador, presented her gift of joy this evening by crafting fun, flavorful fusions of sophisticated beverages sans alcohol. With heartfelt inspiration, Emma shared her what led to the creation of Rosa Joy Co. With such authentic, thoughtful sharing, she convinced guests to "Create the life you want by increasing your joy, building strong friendships and live with a renewed sense of wonder".
It's hard to believe that Zach Gilliam of Vail Valley Entertainment is the newest Member of the Eagle Chamber, as his first Chamber event encounter unveiled a seamless synergy of genuine good will and support with other Members. Everyone was drawn to Zach's photo booth, with an exciting sense of nostalgia, inflated to a modern feel of lively nightlife. Zach's photo booth added such a fun element to this evening!
We at the Eagle Chamber want to thank Little Bird Creative Community, DJ Pippen, Rosa Joy Co and Vail Valley Entertainment for taking their time to share their successful talents with us for the Eagle Chamber Mixer. Each is able to utilize their unique talents with passion while serving the community they love!
The Eagle Chamber would also like to thank our Chamber Ambassadors who helped facilitate the event: Eagle Chamber Board Member Jessie Steinmetz of Edward Jones and Jennifer Hefferan of MND America Corp. Our Ambassadors help set up and breakdown Chamber reception, and synergize connections at Eagle Chamber Mixers.
