Eagle Chamber's Third Thursday Mixer Featuring Town of Eagle, Adam Palmer Sustainability Fund and Vail Honeywagon

Mixer attendees discovered the abundant opportunities the Town of Eagle has to offer at the Eagle Chamber's April After Hours Mixer. The event was an excellent opportunity to engage with local leaders, connect with fellow residents and Chamber Members, and gain valuable insights into the initiatives shaping the Town of Eagle's future.

As part of Climate Action Week, the event was Co-hosted in partnership with
The Adam Palmer Sustainability Fund and Vail Honeywagon, who collaborates with the Town of Eagle through sustainability efforts. Palmer Fund envisions a net-zero Town of Eagle, through communication, innovation and action as they operate in the legacy of Adam Palmer, inspired by Adam's way of life that prioritized sustainability, family and community. Vail Honeywagon has been providing superior waste and recycling services in the Vail Valley for 40 years and are committed to accountable, responsive and personalized service. Vail Honeywagon's commitment to the local community and the environment is demonstrated in their sustainable waste diversion strategies and their contribution to local causes.

Attendees learned more about commercial composting and recycling while 3 lucky winners won composting starter kits from the Palmer Fund, complete with 3 months of free hauling service from Vail Honeywagon. This is a good start to help businesses put commercial composting into action.

Eagle River Brewing and Boone's Wine & Spirits provided complimentary beer and wine, while Frankie's Spicy Water provided sparkling non-alcoholic beverage options and. Compliments of the Town of Eagle, Flavor Stop Food Truck  provided empanadas for Mixer guests. Flavor Stop's full menu items were also available for purchase.
