LG Tri & Kids Tri

Gypsum is proud to host the LG Tri and Kids Tri each summer—an inspiring community event that brings together athletes, families, and supporters for a fun and active day outdoors. The triathlon features a swim, bike, and run course designed for a wide range of abilities, making it a great experience for both first-timers and seasoned participants.

The event also includes a dedicated Kids Tri, giving young athletes a chance to challenge themselves, build confidence, and enjoy the excitement of race day in a supportive environment.

These races honor the memory of Laura Genelin and support the Vail Valley Charitable Fund, making participation a meaningful way to contribute to an important local cause. With a welcoming atmosphere, scenic surroundings, and a strong sense of community spirit, the LG Tri is a highlight of the summer season in Gypsum.
