Twisted Root Bistro is now open! Owner Connie Sieminski and her leadership staff was the center of the Eagle Chamber Ribbon-Cutting celebration in honor of Eagle's newest restaurant's Grand Opening.
Connie introduced the bistro's Chef and kitchen manager, Nathan, and her son Jeff who has been instrumental in IT and many other behind the scenes production for the restaurant. Faith was introduced as Twisted Root's artist who's work freely flows on the walls throughout the restaurant, including the tiled of the bar. Faith serves customers full-time at the front of the restaurant.
Connie expressed her gratitude for the opening of Twisted Root Bistro and said it takes a team. "There's a lot that goes into it. I've got much respect for anyone whose ever done it. It's the first time I've ever done it. I've had a vision that I've been working toward for some time. I've wanted to open a restaurant because I like all the aspects of operating a restaurant. I like being able to be in the kitchen, be in the front and bartend- I don't want to be put in a box doing one thing. So, the best way to be able to do everything is to open up your own space." The staff talks about being able to have a stand out at Eagle Town Park's summer concerts at the park at some point, and, with the HOA's permission, they'd like to eventually build an outdoor patio which permits serving alcohol outside. "It's a work in progress and will be based on the community's thoughts and opinions going forward", Connie says.
Eagle Chamber Ambassadors and more Members, as well as diners were there to welcome the staff at Twisted Root Bistro and helped celebrate this special moment in time for Connie and her staff. Chamber Members enjoyed a buffalo chicken pizza pie and the discovery of the artistic expression of the bistro. The Eagle Chamber thanks Connie and the staff of Twisted Root Bistro for investing in our community and opening their doors to serve their culinary creations to all! Present Eagle Chamber Ambassadors were Shelley Brown of Eagle Valley Autobody, Jennifer Hefferan of MND America, Patty Hood of Hood Insurance Agency and Emma Mitchell of Rosa Joy Co. Other attending Member businesses represented were US Bank and Troy Fuller of Farmers Insurance Agency.
