About Us

Eagle Valley Library District supports residents and visitors of the Eagle Valley by offering excellent opportunities and resources to read, learn and grow.

Residents and visitors are able to get free library cards! With your library card you can check out books, audiobooks, DVDs, and special items from our Library of Things. You also have access to our digital resources with include Libby (ebooks, eaudiobooks and more!), Freegal (free music), Kanopy (free movie streaming), Creativebug (free online art / craft classes), and so much more!!

Anyone can visit or work in the library, no library card or ID needed! We have public computers, public free wifi, and printing / copying services.

Study rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis. However, nonprofits and government entities can reserve meeting rooms ahead of time.

Eagle County School District students can use their S #'s (student id numbers) to check out items at the library.

We have public library building in Gypsum, Eagle, and Avon. Book vending machines are located at the Eagle Ice Rink and Pool and at the Edwards Field House. A Bookmobile takes a traveling library to additional locations such as Dotsero, Edwards, Minturn, McCoy and Redcliff.
