About Us

Yeti's Grind is a city-style, coffeehouse that loves to pour a perfect latte!

Husband and wife entrepreneurs, Nate and Tara Picklo, opened Yeti?s Grind in January 2007. Nate used his construction background to design and build-out the location while Tara was teaching elementary school. The couple created Yeti?s to be a place they would want to hang-out at with a cozy yet modern atmosphere, coffee-focused menu, and friendly staff. They opened with the goal of creating a community gathering place in Eagle with not good, but GREAT coffee!

Over the last few years, Nate and Tara have become passionate about coffee and love how coffee brings the community together. Since cycling is an important part of their lives, they started a bike team for the Vail mountain bike series. Team Yeti has been growing since the first year Yeti?s was open with an awesome group of people and sponsors making up one fun team!

Four years after starting Yeti?s Grind, Nate and Tara opened a second location at the Solaris in Vail Village in 2011. They are excited to bring coffee, community, and cycling to Vail, now book-ending the Vail Valley with their two shops.
